Pelvic Health & Fitness

Your journey to wellness & fitness begins here!

Welcome!

When it comes to fitness, optimal strength begins with the core, and, training the core includes training the pelvic floor! As a personal trainer with my background in occupational therapy and pelvic floor health, I combine these disciplines together to design fitness programs specific for women based on where they are at in life. I use a whole body approach to help you reach your fitness goals whether that may be strength training, weight loss, functional fitness, fitness during pregnancy or postpartum rehabilitation, all while taking into consideration your pelvic floor and overall health.

Fitness & Wellness Designed for Women.

It’s more than just exercise, it’s about empowering yourself!

Pelvic Health

There is something beautiful about stacked rocks. When they are in alignment with one another they are stable. This has a very symbolic meaning when it comes to life. It can represent physical or mental strength, finding balance in life or staying grounded. On a physical level, I like to look at stacked rocks as a symbol of our bodies. The more a person’s body is stacked or aligned, the more stable and strong a body can become. When the body is not stacked or aligned properly there are usually symptoms of pain and decreased strength and stability. The pelvis has a big responsibility. It is the area of the body where load gets transferred to the upper body and lower body. When the pelvis cannot do its job optimally then it becomes “unsteady” and when it lacks that stability, this is when pelvic symptoms such as, incontinence, prolapse, back pain, hip pain etc. will show up.

Pelvic health is fundamental to a woman's overall wellness. Often women are told that their pain or dysfunction is a natural part of aging, is in their head or that there is nothing that can be done.

I am here to teach women what they can do to improve pelvic floor dysfunction, how they can thrive during pregnancy, prepare for an easier childbirth and manage pelvic floor health symptoms postpartum or after menopause.

I incorporate exercises to address pelvic floor health, strength and mobility into all of my personal training and exercise programs to help prevent and or eliminate symptoms of dysfunction.

In the state of Tennessee, I offer indivudualized pelvic health services. My services are not covered by insurance. For more information please call or WhatsApp +1818.570.0357
